3 Iced Tea Recipes You Need to Add to Your Summer Drink List

GREEN TEA LEMONADE W/ A TWIST
This refreshing twist on a lemonade wows in both taste and color. The visual magic here is the butterfly pea tea that changes colors depending on what it’s mixed with. My personal favorite tea for creating anything refreshing is our Sencha green tea. It’s subtle but not easily overpowered. This drink consists of lemon juice, butterfly pea tea, ginger syrup, and honey syrup. Just the ginger syrup alone can be quite strong so a mixture of the honey along with it makes it much more palatable. Amp it up even further with some cutely shaped ice cubes, edible garnish, or even some food safe glitter! Everyone will be asking “what is it that you’re drinking?”

MAKAI BLACK TEA ICED LATTE
Makai black tea, my favorite overall out of our entire range, and the one that I consistently run out of. It’s hard to go wrong with any varied combination of black tea, milk (dairy or plant based), a little bit of heavy cream, and your sweetener of choice. With plenty of caffeine, this black tea latte/black milk tea concoction is the perfect wake me up for slow mornings. Quick tip: use an electric frother if you want the most decadently creamy experience of your life. Equally as delicious served hot or cold!

HIBISCUS GREEN TEA SPRITZER
There’s still a month of summer left, and I’m going to take any opportunity I can to make every drink under the sun that looks like I would be enjoying it at an Italian Villa with a good book while my sundress gives me uneven tan lines. This fruity green tea spritzer is perfect for pretending like you’re far away at a dream destination; equal parts hibiscus tea and our sencha green tea, then a dollop of honey, and some lime juice. Add ice and fill the rest of the glass with some peach soda or sparkling drink of your choice. Opt for some sparkling wine or a hard seltzer (we like AAPI-owned Nectar and Lunar seltzers) to turn this daytime dream into a nighttime rush.
